Prepare
to
Survive
If we read and believe the Bible, we know the world is spiraling towards chaos. God gave us warning in the Old Testament writers through Prophecy. Jesus gave us warning while He walked the Earth. Anyone can look at the news or the world around us today, and see these things coming to pass. NOW is the time to prepare for the prophesied destruction.
NOTE: Since we launched this website in 2021, so much has changed in the world! It is important to remember as you study this page, there are SOME THINGS you cannot be prepared for. As we write this, it is July 2025. In just 6 days, there have been 256 flash flood warnings across the United States. Texas has suffered a catastrophic flood with over 100 deaths. At least 13 states have experienced sudden disastrous flooding. There is simply no way to be prepared for that! Anything stockpiled would be destroyed. Earthquakes, fires, or even a nuclear weapon could quickly take away any sense of security one has worked to be ready for.
With this thought in mind, let us all remember Jesus’ Words. He promised to never leave us, nor forsake us. He told us not to worry, for this cannot add to our life. Being fearful (and aren’t we all just a little worried right now?) can cause us not to make sound decisions at any time, but especially in times of trouble. Please keep this in mind as you look through this page. We do not in any way promise that having some salt or a few blankets will keep you through SOME things. Our hope is only that we may be safe, warm, and dry when that is possible. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO RELY ON GOD, no matter the circumstance! It is so important to have His Word deep down inside of us. Even a Bible stored away can be gone in the blink of an eye. If we don’t have it IN us, having it AROUND us won’t matter. Remember, a flashlight may help you when it gets dark, but without Jesus’ gift of salvation, we cannot ENDURE the wicked darkness coming into it now – nor will we be saved from eternal darkness in hell.
THE ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN DO NOW IS MAKE SURE WE ARE TRULY BIBLICALLY SAVED. Can you back your salvation up by God’s Word? The key Word in the verse is “many.” Jesus warned us. There will be many who believe they are saved ~ but He will say He does not know them. ARE YOU TRULY SECURE?
The good news about the bad news is Jesus didn’t let the difficulty catch us off guard. He gave us warnings in the Bible to help us be prepared for evil days. Time and time again, we hear Him reminding us not to be afraid. Very often He told us to lean on Him. NOW is the time to strengthen our trust in Him. If we don’t have a strong reliance on Him now, we will not be ready to withstand the most evil days which are upon us.
History often repeats itself. We are seeing many things unfold now that have happened before. Some of those things happened during Jesus’ time on earth. Some things have happened beyond that time. What can we learn from history to help us today? David’s faith to take a rock to a sword fight is valuable! Those who lived through the Great Depression have deep wisdom to be gleaned from.
We should be praying NOW asking God to help us as we seperate fact from fiction.
The Bible says if we lack wisdom, we can ask for it and it will be given. James 1:5.
Just as Jesus gave warnings about terrifying times, He made many promises. He said He will never leave us. He said He will answer when we call on His Name. He is not a God who will step aside and look away as the prophecies are fulfilled around us. He cares about the hard times we go through and promises to guide us through it all. As we watch the Bible come true in this last hour, we can be assured He knows our every need. If He knows the number of hairs on our head, surely He knows right where we are at all times.
Remember, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you!
One of the most important things we can all do right now is remember Jesus’ warnings. He said the last days would be different than anything we have ever known. The Bible warns us the world will “call evil good, and good evil.” (Isaiah 5:20)
God’s Word gives us clear instructions to TEST ALL SPIRITS. We must test these spirits at all times! We are no longer living in a time when we can trust what stands before us. We need to STUDY God’s Word to know how to deal with evil spirits when they come against us. We have been given authority through Jesus Christ to bind them and cast them out. Remember, everything is not as it seems!
Jesus gave very clear instructions about the last days. We have always had false prophets, teachers, and so-called Christians around us. However, He made it plain that in the latter hour many false prophets would rise. We cannot read the Bible and pretend these Words are not there.
We must be careful who we listen to! Jesus said MANY will rise, not few. Social Media can be a great tool for evangelism, but the enemy is using it at alarming rates even now. Be sure to line up every word spoken with The Word of God. If it is not in the Bible, do not listen! Guard your ear gate from demonic entrances.
Remember Jesus said NO MAN knows the day or hour of His return. Matthew 24:36. He also said that even He does not know, only the Father. If any man comes saying he knows the day, he is a liar and false prophet. Our response should be “If The Father did not tell The Son, He surely did not tell you!”
Though the war we are in is a spiritual one, there are physical things that can help if they are available. There is nothing wrong with keeping flashlights, batteries, or oil lamps on hand. The Bible tells us there will be famine in the last days. We are not failing as believers if we have dry beans or rice stored. They may be priceless if they are still there when food is scarce. We simply must remember these items can only aid in the physical. Without Holy Ghost guiding us, we cannot survive a spirit battle. In the wilderness, God provided manna from Heaven to feed His people. In our wilderness season, He provides miracles for us as well.
Remember, Jesus said He will never leave us! He is our constant help in times of trouble.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,
Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Praying always, with all supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
~ Ephesians 6:10-18 kjv
It is so important in times of crisis, or in preparing for them, to PRAY! Remember we do not all live in the same areas, climates, or cultures. What one person may need in an emergency could be different from another. Really the only true way to be best prepared for ANYTHING in this life is to pray. We must ask God for wisdom and then act upon His instructions in any matter, especially emergencies. The most important thing to do when we pray is to do what He tells us. How many times has He rescued us from something by speaking His will on a certain situation! What dangers may we encounter by not listening and doing as He says! Sometimes His Words won’t make any sense in this season, but down the road, we will understand why He spoke them. Pray and ask Him to show you what is needed for you or your Family. He is always there in any time of need. That is His promise!
The world is changing quickly and global financial systems are creating their own currencies. The United States is quickly losing its position as the foundational currency for the entire world. An economic collapse is imminent for the whole world. It is imperative that we begin NOW to learn not to rely on money to provide our needs when this time comes.
There will be a day when God’s people will have to live
from miracle to miracle.
Remember, He is with you ALWAYS!
Jesus said “If the world hate you, know that it hated me first.” While people are waxing colder, and hearts are growing harder, we must be prepared to be hated for His Name sake. The deeper sin’s depravity carves its etching in this world, the more believers in Jesus Christ will be hated. As time here draws to a close, Biblical Christianity will become more of a target for the enemy. Do not be alarmed by the hate, only understand the reason for it.
If we want to survive what has been prophesied for the last days, we must know the signs of those times. Jesus gave very clear teachings about things to watch for. He drew a picture that cannot be denied as we look around today. Not only did He give us signs to look for, He gave us detailed instructions what to do when we see them coming to pass. Time is drawing near for the tribulation and His coming. We would all benefit from studying well to know the signs of the times. Lord, may we not be caught blindsided!
Never underestimate the power of music in times of crisis! Throughout the Bible, God teaches us its importance. Many times, we see music as a means to cast out evil spirits, and calm weary emotions. In the case of Saul, David’s music had a soothing effect on his weakened mind.
Be selective of the music you listen to, especially in times of trial or tribulation. What we feed, grows. We cannot expect our thoughts to stop racing in a disaster if we are telling it through musical lyrics to panic.
In the midst of it all, there is still GOOD NEWS!
Jesus said when we see the things predicted in the Bible begin to come to pass, our time on earth grows shorter. What a good thing to know! We can trust Him to be with us, even when we are experiencing the worst time in history. If we are born again believers, we can trust that soon our troubles will cease. Eternity with Jesus is a promise!
Again, there are physical things we need to know that can help us in times of disaster. Do you know how to start a fire without matches or a lighter? In a power outage, we may need to cook and keep warm. Research and practice starting a fire with no matches/lighter in case you were to lose everything. While we still have the internet, use it as a teaching resource. Time is of the essence now!
Remember, Jesus said He is with you, even unto the very end.
While we are striving to survive ourselves, it is crucial that we pray for those around us. So many still do not know Jesus Christ as Saviour. May we spend time daily on our knees praying for salvation of the lost. Lord, send Godly people into the path of those who do not know You. Open their understanding to the Gospel. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear Your message of hope for all.
May we also remember many claim to have made Him Saviour, but have not made Him Lord of their life. The Bible plainly tells us we must allow Him to be Lord over every decision, every thought, every feeling. That can be hard, especially in these times. Lord, help us to give You a rightful seat at the head of our life. Help us to turn to You before anyone or anything else when we need direction. May we surrender fully NOW!
Get the Word of God hidden down in your heart. Aside from being sure of our salvation in Jesus, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN EVER DO!
A Bible that is not studied will not serve any purpose if we don’t know what it says. There will come a time when the Word of God, the Bible, will be outlawed and banned. If we do not have His Words deep in us, we will not have the strength or wisdom to endure the coming times on earth.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
DO YOU HAVE GOD’S WORD HIDDEN IN YOUR HEART?
COULD YOU ENDURE
IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE A BIBLE?
Jesus had some hard sayings. His prophecies of the last days include some heartbreaking news. None of us want to imagine a time when those closest to us will turn on us. We have to trust Him to carry our heartbreak through this season.
Jesus said His sheep hear His voice. There are many voices calling out to us now, and this will increase as time shortens. We must have a relationship with Him to know which voice is His. If we cannot discern His voice among the masses, we will not be able to follow what He instructs. We must pray to ask for wisdom. We should be so accustomed to HIS voice that there is never a question Who to follow.
Don’t forget His promise to be with you through whatever may come!
Jesus said we cannot believe everything we see or hear. We must pray diligently for discernment to separate fact from fiction. The demonic realm is real. There are evil spirits at work around us at all times. With the rise of AI and the increase in technological advances, all things must come under His microscope. Remember, everything is filtered now. Jesus used one Word more than any when He described the last days. That Word was DECEIVED. God, help us not to be deceived in this last hour! Pray for discernment and trust when He warns. True discernment never lies.
This is perhaps the saddest paragraph we will have to write, yet it is necessary. If you have Children, please remember to prepare for them now. An emergency situation for a Child can be awfully scary. Their small minds are not able to comprehend what is happening around them during a time of war or disaster. {Honestly, can we as adults?}
A stuffed animal can be very comforting to a child in times of trouble. Your Child will need something to comfort him as you are busy dealing with whatever needs arise. A “Buddy Bear” can bring peace to a troubled heart in crisis. A coloring book and crayons can help them keep their thoughts a little calmer.
Most importantly, teach your Children NOW every promise He has given them. Remember, just because we pack an emergency kit, doesn’t mean it will be where we left it when an emergency comes. If it is ALL gone, does your Child know Jesus has promised to be with him during a time of disaster?
Jesus told us what to watch for. It would be wise for all of us to know what He said in Matthew 24. If we don’t know what He said, we cannot discern the times or seasons. STUDY this chapter and understand its depth.
Remember, today’s preparation is tomorrow’s protection!
In an ever-changing world, it is crucial to do our best to be prepared for things to change quickly and without warning. All the sugar and salt on the shelves can never really have us ready for some things ~ only Jesus can. Remember the most important thing is to stay in your Bible and pray. Seek God for help. Ask Him for wisdom. He promises to give it liberally to those who ask for it! {James 1:5}
NEVER EVER EVER let anything or anyone put out His fire in you! Though the fires rage round us, we must never stop burning for Jesus. If His Word is like a fire shut up in our bones, may we always fan the flames to stay strong.
Again, there are some physical things we can use in times of crisis. We can NEVER have too many blankets in a time of disaster. Of course a blanket can be used to stay warm when it is cold and we are without electricity. They have other uses as well. Remember it is easier to seal off one room in a house and keep it warm. A blanket over a doorway, and even windows, can help. Thrift stores usually sell old blankets fairly cheap. GET ANY WOOL BLANKETS YOU CAN FIND AS THEY HOLD HEAT IN WELL!
Remember, Jesus warned us many times of the dangers in the last days. He warned of wars and rumors of wars. {Matthew 24:6} He also said these would be the signs that the end is closer, but it is not the end yet. Because of His warning, we must do our best to prepare for the worst. It is important in these troubled times to remember His promise to NEVER leave us or forsake us! {Deuteronomy 31:8}
In the Bible, God tells us we must stand with Israel. He gives us clear instruction and warning.
Ezekiel 38-39 and Zechariah 14 describe a soon-coming time when all nations will gather against Israel. God promises to act on Israel’s behalf. He will save His people from the enemy forces. Israel will always stand undefeated because of God’s love for her.
When we are born again into a Jewish Family, we inherit a Jewish legacy. We become grafted in. (Romans 2; Galatians 3) As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, a Jewish Messiah, we cannot be consistent with the whole of scripture and take a passive position toward Israel and the Jewish people.
A Biblical assignment and a Divine Promise summon our stand in faith with Israel at all times. Let us pray with expectancy for Israel trusting in God’s eternal promise over her.
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
