UNDESPISED

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

As God began leading us to the Raised and Seated website you are viewing, there seemed to be so much on our mind.  With the current condition of this crazy world, we couldn’t help but wonder if we could lend the experience of our years.  There are so many different directions being presented with difficult choices to make.  Surely He could use something we had lived through to save someone from those horrors.  With Holy Spirit’s guidance, we will not sugar-coat the facts here.  The only way to open the Bible is to dig deep within its teachings, even if the subject matter is controversial.  Often it has been regarded with tender hands and  in hopes not to offend.  Nowhere in scripture does God instruct us to feed the sweet tooth of this world with watered-down facts.  God is clear.  He is precise.  He fully separates fact from fiction, and warns us of the dangers of mixing the two.  There is a Biblical Truth for every lie.  Our prayer with this page is that every word He speaks will expose the wicked plan of the evil one to steal your life.

How Clean is Your Cup? (for older youth)

It's sure alot easier to keep our "outside cup" clean, than our "inside cup!" Jesus had alot to say about both. Here, we discover what His red letters meant when He told the Pharisees what He REALLY thought. One thing we have to remember, is that its always an INSIDE job in our cups ... don't be caught dirty. Ew!
