Let's Worship Him Together
The songs you find here are but a few of our favorites. God gave us music as a means to lean into worship, and to help us gain strength during the trials and tribulations of our lives. Our prayer is that He will use this music in your time of need, to speak His peace into every situation, or to be used in your own times of praise or worship.
Please understand that not all of these songs would be labeled "Christian" music. Also, we are not endorsing any certain artist, Christian or secular, as we do not personally know any of them. Our Biblical responsibility is not to judge or to condemn, nor to be heady or high-minded. We have only found the messages to speak into our own lives. Often God will choose to speak through something as childlike as a puppet. At other times, His method may be the heartbroken cry of a rock star with a haunting question.
NOTE: We do not own the rights to this music.
To worship God is to humble everything about ourselves, and exalt everything about Him. -B. Kauflin
Worship
The Bible tells us that God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) Some would say that worship is a song we sing, but God would define it much deeper than that. Worship is a life we live, always seeking to magnify Him over all things, and mostly ourselves. As we come before Him now, tell Him Who He is to you, He loves to hear it! What are the words you use to describe This God of All Wonders?
Praise ye the Lord, praise God in the sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts, praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Psalm 150
Praise and Thanksgiving
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy name; for Thou has done wonderful things; Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Isaiah 25:1
God deserves to be praised for the wonderful things He does. Often we are slack in our acknowledgement of His works for us. We fail to see the miracles He performs daily and forget to speak of this to Him. How it must break His heart when we are like the 9 who went their way not thanking Him for great and mighty things He has done! May we work harder to be like the 1 who returned, giving Him the praise and thankfulness He truly earned.
Let not your heart be troubled. ~Jesus Christ
If you're going through hell, keep going. ~Winston Churchill
Encouragement for these troubling times.
In Psalm 27, David is writing. He tells the Lord all of his troubles. The time that he is writing from is not much different than today. Just as there were dangers, real fears, threats of wars and enemies all around then, all we have to do now is turn on the news to see the same. God has given us a powerful weapon through music to defeat the enemy who seeks to camp at our door. How good to know when we lift up our voice and call, He hears. May we all find peace, comfort, and encouragement in the time and season we are now in. Most of all, may we remember that Jesus said, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:2
