As it was,

so shall it be

In Matthew 24, Jesus gives a startling Word.  He answers the question, “What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the world?”  His Words have resounded throughout generations, leading us to the time we now live in.

Come.  Let us reason together as we study God’s Words on this matter.

God always raises up a

Wild One!

Lesson 1 and 2

Wickedness defined ~

In Genesis 6:5, God describes what He saw that was great in the earth in Noah’s day.  As we study the word, may our eyes of understanding be open wider … do we see it in our world today?

Corruption defined ~

In Genesis 6:11-12, God tells us to “PAY ATTENTION!”  He looked upon the earth and saw how corrupt man had become.  As we explore the deep meaning of the word, does it open our eyes to the condition of man today?

Violence defined ~

In Genesis 6:11 and 13, God continues to describe what He saw in Noah’s day.  It is important to note He said “the earth was FILLED …”  When we truly understand what the word means, can we ever really “unsee” it being defined before us now?

When God’s heart grieves …

In Genesis 6:6-7, we find God’s “bowels laid open” because of the sinful condition of man.  As we study what this really means, and understand the deep meaning of these verses, can we truly continue in sin without remorse now?

God’s Spirit will not always strive with man …

{part 1}

In Genesis 6:1-4, God gives more detail of the deep sins of Noah’s day.  In verse 3, He says He will not always STRIVE with man.  The Hebrew meaning of the word can be startling.  As we consider the unholy and unnatural sexual sins that were everywhere, can we understand God’s choice then?  Does our understanding cause us to stand at attention when we look around NOW?

The day the fathers fell asleep …

{part 2}

In 2 Peter 3, we find a direct mention of the flood of Noah’s day long after the waters has receded.   It was Jesus who said the “last days” would be like Noah’s day.  Can we find some instructions on how we should live in these troubling times using Noah as a model?  Question is, are we awake?

DANGER, DANGER!

{part 1}

1 Timothy 3 tells us that perilous times will define the last days.   Genesis 6 and 7 describe the same perilous times in Noah’s day.  Jesus compared the two.  With such a blatant list before us, can we deny the evidence stacking up?

DANGER, DANGER!

{part 2}

As we study Jesus’ comparison between Noah’s Day and this latter hour, can we ignore the list in Romans?  Can we blame a Righteous God for turning man over if he does not like to retain Him in their knowledge?  If verse 28-31 cannot convince us, perhaps verse 32 will
